Canvas panel, 11 inches square, with embroidery 10 inches square in coloured wool and worked in petit-point on canvas, consists of circular portrait, the corners being filled in with yellow arabesques against a red background. the portrait shows a half-length figure of Daniel O'Connell against a landscape background. seated, his right hand slightly forward and to the side, his left hand partly concealed in his waistcoat.
