Loughlin House, 27 April 1798
My Lord I_______ the_____of your Lordship 24 Int. The Game Keeper has been______ this forthnight. I wish he may______ the _______ good______ your Lordship had of him. I gave him six guineas to buy a cow. Should be glad to know what more I am to advance him as his demand seems rather large. I have the Boy Horse hear but as I told your lordship six months ago that he never would be fit to ride the______ is quite healed and hard and the horse lose on the gras seeming round but on the road lame so that he will be of no use to his lordship in Dublin. I have already as much tarffe champs as would serve the hole family for three months and shall have a good inventory cutt of the very best kind that they will have no cause of complaint as i shall have the best stone turffe. Richardson is not goin on as well as he ought as he has as yet note brought_________ stone home he has the road wall about seven foot above the___________ excepting the deferent places that is for the cutt stone your Lordship does note write to him to hurry he will note be finished in August instead of the first of July according to his agreement he came have no excuse as the weather is very fine and has time enough. The Country ___________ is still quite and will be. So the confinement of Taffe has and the __________ of my old writer Nangle at Athlone for being united has hade a very good effect on the mind with regard of helping them quite but still expect a _______. Mr A Taffe came to Woodfield last Saturday Mr James Lynch and Tom Dillon was ther 2 days then with him from ther they went to Mr Nick Ferris wher they stay 2 days more Mr A Taaffe went off to Dublin They seem all in great confusion altho they say there is nothing against him but walking with Lord Edward Fitzgerald,
