Land League Banner. 1885, for the Kilmaley Branch. Portrait of Michael Davitt on one side with slogan 'Down with Landlordism' above, and 'Union is Strength' below. Portrait of Charles Stewart Parnell on the other side above Kilmaley. Below, 'Branch I.N. League'. Green in colour, with central painting and the four crests of the provinces around it, the red hand of Ulster at the top, the golden harp to the right, the three crowns at the bottom and the black wing and arm with sword to the left. There are sprays of shamrock at each corner. The word Kilmaley in applique at the top, and at the bottom an inscription with much of the lettering missing, those left being " B N(?) AN H I.N. LEA U". The painting depicts a suited man, Charles Stewart Parnell, giving a blessing or assistance to a woman representing Ireland, in a green and white dress and a red robe with shamrock in her hair. She holds the man's left hand, her own left hand rests on a harp. There are gold lace borders around the painting and crests, and also forming a cross shape surrounding all the decoration. There are gold lace tassles around the edge of the flag, and it is attached to a hanging pole at the top.;
