Revolver and case. Steel revolver, wooden stock, muzzle loading. On top of drum guard engraved "London Armoury" on right side below drum "B10938 Adams Patent. no. 26602R". On right side of barrel engraved "C.S. Parnell, Avondale". In box also bullet mould, powder horn and tools. Oak box with circular brass escuctheon engraved "C.S. Parnell, Avondale". The revolver was presented to Mr Henry O'Rourke, Dublin Bridge, father of J.F. O'Rourke, from whom the pistol was purchased by Charles Stewart Parnell, who was a personal friend of Henry O'Rourke. Circa 1860.;
