Curragh Camp. Autograph album from the Rath Camp Curragh. Of P.J. Treacy. The album contains of a foreword written in Irish from Father Pat Smith (Meath) and names from every county in Ireland. The Commandant of the camp was Peadar Mac Mahon (Ministry of Defence). There were 1200 men in this Camp. Among the contributors to the album were Tomas O Deirg, Leo J. Close, Joseph Mac Bride T.D., Justin Mac Kenna, Brien Cusack T.D., Phil Cosgrave, S. McCall (Town Clerk of Bray), Tom Kerr of Liverpool I.R.A., Alex MacCabe, Liam O'Briain, the late P.J. Lynch of the Sunday Independent, Brian Higgins (brother of the late Kevin O'Higgins), T. Campbell, Paddy Larkin, who figured in a famous Louth Parliamentary Election, Stephen Lanigan etc. In addition the album contains a number of snapshots of incidents in the life of the camp.;
