shirt / Fianna Éireann, 1916

Officer's tunic shirt, Fianna Éireann. Worn in 1916. Dark green, with a double row of plain brass buttons down the front, four in each row. Epaulettes of blue velvet, each with one plain brass button. Also one similar button on each cuff. This would have been worn with breeches and leggings. Possibly from the Fianna of the East Wall area of Dublin.;
