Lewes Jail. "Duanaire na Macaomh", a collection of Irish poetry edited by Tomás Ó Flannghaile and autographed by 121 Irish Prisoners in Lewes Jail in May 1917. All the names are in Irish and they are entered on the pages which corresponded to their prison numbers. In addition to the names and addresses, the work of the prisoners and the locality in which he fought, together with the sentence imposed are also given. Dublin, Wexford and Galway names are especially prominent. Among the signatures are those of Enri O Beoláin, Gerald Crofts, Doctor Richard Hayes, Thomas Ashe, Seamus Ua Dubhgaile, Peadar Clancy, George Irwin, Liam T. Cosgair, Colm O Gaora, Eoin MacNéill, Eamonn De Valera, McEntee and Austin Stack.;
