Blunderbuss owned by Michael Dwyer, 1771-1826. Blunderbuss rifle, iron barrel, wooden stock with iron butt plate. Iron lock. No maker's name. Irish, late 18th century. Length of 32". This is the blunderbuss given by Miss Hume of Humewood, Co. Wicklow, to the 1798 Memorial Committee in 1938 - it is alleged to be that surrendered by Michael Dwyer at Humewood.;
