Erin stands with a crucifix and a document titled 'Land Agitation'. Balfour, who has got on a suit which is kept in the Castle for Chief Secretaries to wear on certain occasions, to Erin - 'Ha Ha! See what I have got over from Rome. Now, I think you will give me up that paper?' Erin - 'Never! That document in your hand was obtained by fraud and misrepresentation, and has therefore no moral force'. Balfour - 'Ho! Ho! The you mean to split with Rome?' Erin - 'Never!
