Photograph, Hangman of the Invincibles, 1882. Two men, a "peeler" (policeman) on the left-hand side and William Marwood, the hangman, on the other side. Marwood hung Joe Brady, Michael Fagan, Thomas Caffrey, Dan Curley and Tim Kelly for their part in the Phoenix Park Murders of Chief Secretary for Ireland Lord Frederick Cavendish and Thomas Henry Burke in May 1882.;
