Full plate photograph of the Betsy Gray Sluagh of Fianna Eireann, or Fianna Girl Scouts Belfast Group, in 1914. Showing Aideen Connolly (Mrs. Ward) in centre of back row and Ina Connolly (Mrs. Heron) and Lily Kempson (Mrs. McAlerney) on either side of front group. On the back of the original is stamped witht he Photographer's stamp Reids Studios, 81 High Street and 114 Royal Avenue, Belfast, 22nd August 1914. Inscribed in pencil is "to May from Jil". Information was received from Ms Casey McNerthney in March 2016 regarding the people in the photograph. Ms McNerthney is the great-granddaughter of Lily (Kempson) McAlerney. They are listed as Marie McKeown, Aideen Ward, Kitty Shells, Ina Connolly and Alice Kavanagh. Lily is in the front with the flowers in her uniform.;
