relic / Roger Casement

Green silk handkerchief, said to have been left by Sir Roger Casement at Mrs. Biggar's House on the last occassion he stayed there, and preserved by his housekeeper, Bridgit, who gave it to Mrs. Gavin Duffy. The latter subsequently gave it to the donor's sister after Sir Roger's execution. Handkerchief, green silk, 21.5" square, said to have belonged to Sir Roger Casement.;
