Irish Volunteers Defence of Ireland Fund collection box, 1914. Cylinderical, metal, with handle. Coin slot in top; bottom broken open along rim; painted green. Label pasted on, with legend: Óglaigh na hÉireann/Defence of Ireland Fund/1914. Box about 5 inches high and 4 inches in diameter. Found among old material at 41, York Street (Workmen's Club) shortly before 28/1/1941.;
