Reverse: Victory seated to left with wings outspread over a plinth inscribed WATERLOO which in turn is over the date JUNE 18./1815. Around above, WELLINGTON. Die struck in silver, steel and silver mount for suspension from 3.8 cm wide ribbon (crimson with blue edges). Inscribed on rim of medal LIEUT.COL. J.M. HAMERTON 2ND BATT. 44TH REG. FOOT.;
