letter / Private Edmund Francis Hogan, 1916

Rough draft of letter by father of Private Hogan to be sent to Captain Cooney at Island Bridge Infantry Records. Dated 21st November 1916. He states he wrote to the commanding officer of Hogan, who saw Hogan the morning of the 9th September. Also he, the father, spoke to a returned soldier who says he spoke to him on the morning of the 9th. He asks could his son be in a hospital somewhere or a prisoner. He also mentions field postcard and has copy of letter re. his effects to the war office.;
