Hat of Commandant Michael Mallin, Officer in Command of St. Stephen's Green Area, Easter Rising, 1916. It was pierced by a bullet on the second or third day of the fighting. The hat was given to Mrs Mallin by a British Officer on the day following her husband's execution. Green felt material with a green/brown silk band, roughly stitched to crown.;
