Gaelic League handkerchief, 1898. Printed cotton square 14". Stitched hemmed border 1.25" wide with a stylised interlace of white on green with an abstraction from a Celtic Cross in each corner. In the white field CONNRADH NA GAEDHILGE on yellow on a scroll over a harp. Shamrock sprays in the bottom half and IS IONANN BHEITH GAN TEANGA AGUS BHEITH GAN TÍR on a scroll below the harp and over 1898 on a yellow field within a double circle 1 1/8" outside D.;
