Daniel O'Connell's duelling pistols. Pair of pistols by Trulock and Son, Dublin, 1845. Originally owned by Daniel O'Connell. In wooden case, which contains the pistols, powder flask and bullet moulds. Pistols - percussion, barrels 15.2 cm in length. 20 guage. DUBLIN inscribed thereon; inscribed on the lock plates - TRULOCK AND SON. Inscribed on a brass plate outside of the case - crest of O'Connell and M. and K. O'C. TO D. O'C. Letters inscribed on the silver plate on each of the two pistols.;
