Prayer book, ex GPO 1916. Printed prayer book, with title, "Key of Heaven", in gilt letters. On fly leaf is written ink: "This prayer book was found by Lieut. T.D. Thomas, 22nd Welsh Regt./attached to 12th Inishkilling Fusrs./in the G.P.O. Sackville Street (O'Connell St.) Dublin, after the rebels had/been cleared out on Monday/May 1st, 1916/W.H. Rees. Major,/22nd Br., The Welsh Regt." In another ink inverted commas are inserted around the word 'rebels', the word 'been' is crossed out, and a comma inserted after the word 'out'. On opposite page, in the finest ink, and the same handwriting, is written: "No. 5 Camp, /Kimmel Park,/Rhyl,/N. Wales./3/5/16." 3.625 inches by 2.25 inches. Black imitation leather cover. Printed and Bound in Dublin 'Deanta in Eireann' stamp.;
