Political cartoon, supplement to the United Ireland, 19 June 1886. Titled 'A Cool Proposal'. Depicting a confrontation between the Royal Irish Constabulary police and an Orange mob. 'The Orange Magistrates of Belfast held a meeting and promised that they would themselves take charge of the disturbed districts on condition that the Constabulary should be withdrawn' - Daily Paper. Mr Kentish Phyer J.P. and Royal Hobah Black - 'Now then Bobbies, clear out, and I'll undertake my Loyalist friends here will let you off this time'. By J.D. Reigh.;
