Framed water colour painting of Countess Markievicz. Copy, slightly enlarged and not painted directly from the original but from a photograph of it, of a water colour self-portrait of the Countess (age about 14 or 16, done at Glaslough, Co. Monaghan, seat of Sir John Leslie). Original is property of Sir John Leslie; both he and his father gave the Countess hints in painting. Sir John lent the original to Stanislas Markievicz and he had it photographed and copied in original colours by Mrs. R.S. Vandeleur, Westmeath. Size of original, c. 6 inches by 4 inches; of copy (oval), 5 1/2 inches by 8 inches.;
