Rev: Greyhound and harp in right foreground, round tower and two Celtic crosses against mountain to left, sunburst over sea behind above Catholic Emancipation, Repeal. Below in Exergue, Centenary, 1875. Medal commemorative of the centenary of O'Connell's birth, 1875. The head is by William Wyon and is that from an earlier medal used again in this one after Wyon's death. The reverse unsigned, and no record of who issued the medal. Pierced at top. Diam. 1.3 inches. No ribbon.;
