Pocket watch, made in Chester, 1828-1829. Said to have belonged to John Hogan, Sculptor, (1800-1858). Fusee drive with key winding; jewelled lever escapement with seconds hand. Probably English made. In silver case with Chester hall marks for 1828-1829. No cover on glass face. Two keys, one marked "4" and "Rivtd." Pipe, on suspendory loop. Diam. 2.1 inches. Donor is grandson of John Hogan, Sculptor.;
