Late 19th century silk bookmark. 10 1/4" overall in length (including fringed ends) by 1 5/8s wide length of white silk with 4" length of cream perforated paper stitched on in top half. This paper bears the legend Let/Erin (over a harp in brown with gold strings and green shamrock about)/ Hope in silk thread mostly cross-stitched. Mounted on green board, glazed and framed in gilt wood. Home Rule era.;
