Ancient Order of Hibernians ribbon badge, c. 1900. 21 x 7.5 cm. with 5 cm. gilt metal thread fringe. Green poplin with rosette at top (with sequin and gilt metal thread centerpiece). Painted on body: A.O.H. (in pink-top-shading to brick red) over a shield depicting the badge of the society (a rayed sun rising from behind a three peak hill over a cardinal red field on which are clasped male hands over a harp separating two shamrock sprays) over 'Board of Erin/No. 959'. Backed in black with same devices painted in white.;
