Irish National Foresters Uniform. Liverpool c. 1900 comprising green tail coat with epaullettes stitched to shoulders, three threble trefoil devices in sequins on lapels, 6 buttons bearing the date 1782 within a wreath of shamrocks and a strip of gilt braid describing a trefoil on each sleeve; white felt waistcoat with 7 buttons each bearing the 1782 device; white felt breeches buttoning at feet; one green sash with gold trefoil borders and with a harp over INF embroidered on it; black felt hat ("Colonial" on leather band) rim stitched up on one side; one plume in tin cylindrical container. The coat bears the label "R. Birchall/Tailor Hatter & Hosier/321 & 323 Scotland Road, Liverpool".;
