Breeches, cream or buff coloured, with buttoned front section and buttoned ankles. Irish National Foresters Uniform. Liverpool c. 1900 comprising green tail coat with epaullettes stitched to shoulders, three threble trefoil devices in sequins on lapels, 6 buttons bearing the date 1782 within a wreath of shamrocks and a strip of gilt braid describing a trefoil on each sleeve; white felt waistcoat with 7 buttons each bearing the 1782 device; white felt breeches buttoning at feet; one green sash with gold trefoil borders and with a harp over INF embroidered on it; black felt hat ("Colonial" on leather band) rim stitched up on one side; one plume in tin cylindrical container. The coat bears the label "R. Birchall/Tailor Hatter & Hosier/321 & 323 Scotland Road, Liverpool".;
