Cumann na mBan Pelmet c. 1935. In white, calico bearing the legend painted in green "Cumann na mBan/in" (to allow for different location being specified from year to year), the side pieces bearing Celtic motifs in yellow and red. 6' wide, 14" deep except at sides which extend 3' having also stitched shoulder reverse overlap to allow for draping on, say, wooden stands. Probably used on stands at Republican Aontaí in the 1930s. Handpainted.;
