Opening of Northern Ireland Parliament medal 1921. Bronze. Obverse - the arms of Ulster crowned between crossed palm sprays on which is a ribbon bearing X, 19, 21, X on each of the four overlaps. Around 'TO COMMEMORATE THE OPENING OF THE NORTHERN PARLIAMENT' with a cross as terminal. Reverse - Within a shield formed by six arcs, a star between two dots in each angle. Across 'THE NORTHERN PARLIAMENT OPENED ON THE 22ND DAY OF JUNE 1921', 'THE RIGHT HON. SIR JAMES CRAIG. BART. M.B.E . PRIME MINISTER' and 'CITY HALL BELFAST'.;
