WWI photograph album kept by Private Joseph McEnroe, 1st Battalion, Royal Irish Fusiliers. and sometime prisoner of war. Including: a photograph of himself as P.O.W. at Gettorf 1918; of his brother Thomas, wounded at Ypres, at Manchester Hospital with two others; seven picture postcards of Gettorf and one, coloured, of a bridge in Germany; one black and white of Kiel and one coloured of Ostceebad Heikendorf; two French propaganda coloured postcards "Gloire Aux Allies" and "La Marseillaise 1915"; one postcard of a Tyrolean wayside shrine; one of a stage set of a P.O.W. production at Gettorf and one of the cast – their names and regiments on pencil on back; three cloth cards sent to his wife whilst on service - "Honneur Au Canon" crossed flags 1914-1915 and crossed flags 1915, photo of Gustrow cemetery for 'prisoners of war who died from starvation'; one coloured card "Vaillant Belge - Merci!" sent to his wife; one black and white of a group of the Middlesex Regiment; one coloured card depicting the liner in which he was brought home from Germany 1918; postcard photo of four P.O.W.s at Gettorf named at back two ex. Royal Irish Fusiliers one ex. West Yorkshire and one Middlesex; one of French and Belgian P.O.W.s with luggage at Gustrow; one of a group of nine P.O.W.s and one of another nine; one sent in 1929 of Bad Wildungen; one of drama group and another of soccer team 1918 at Gettorf; one of three P.O.W.s addressed to Mrs E. Somers; one of Woodland Road, Cheetham, sent to Private Thomas McEnroe in hospital in Manchester in November 1915; one coloured prison yard type scene of P.O.W.s at Gettorf.;
