ornament / Freemount / Childers, 1974

Ceramic ornament, coach drawn by four horses, driven by two coachmen, carrying a lady passenger. Scene of late 18th century. Inscribed on the underside is 'Presented to President Childers by the Freemount Community Council on the occassion of his opening of the Freemount Community Grounds on August 4th, 1974'. Maker's mark on underside is 'MZ' crowned, with 'Ireland' underneath.;
