1941.70.1-2. Certificate showing that John Lloyd was awarded the Freedom of the City of Cork. 16th July, 1822. Printed paper with small, circular, silver box. Holds the wax seal of the City of Cork. The lid inscribed with the Cork Arms and bright-cut ornament around rim of lid and base. The certificate is printed and signed THE RIGHT WORSHIPFUL EDWARD NEWSOME MAYORBE IT REMEMBERED THAT AN ASSEMBLY .........) THE FREEDOM AT LARGE OF THIS CITY WAS UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO JOHN LLOYD ESQ.
