Silver scroll box, cylindrical, presented to the Honourable Charles Stewart Parnell by Joseph O'Donoghue of New York, United States. With American flag depicted. Cyclindrical case, silver, for address or flag. Sides spirally fluted with a rococco edging at top and bottom and at junction between body and cap. On the cap a harp engraved in a shield with floral scroll mantling. On teh side engraved the American flag with the words 'Presented to Hon Charles Stewart Parnell by Joseph J. O'Donoghue of New York. Circa 1800. French. Length 9 7/8 inches, diameter 2 inches.;
