Page in album depicting the evictions at Ballyfad, Coolgreany, on the Brooke Estate, North Co. Wexford, 1887. Handwritten caption reads ‘Miss Darcy gathering up her furniture after eviction for conveyance to Campaign Cottage. The police ask to be photographed’. Photograph removed and separate. Part of an album containing forty-seven photographs of Irish eviction scenes of the 1880s. Front cover missing. A copy of this album is also in the National Library of Ireland, where is is catalogued as having been compiled by a T. Mallacy, also probably the photographer, who gave it to Fr Farrelly, who was involved in the Plan of Campaign in the Wexford area. His grand-niece donated the album to the NLI in 1992.;
