Martin, No. 20382, of the Leinster Regiment. States that this would have been awarded to him, if he had lived, in memory of his services with the British Forces during the Great War. World War I. The medal inscribed B. Martin states his number as 7494, and his regiment as the Royal Irish Rifles.;
