Religious medal, circular, heavy. On obverse a profile bust of a monk with legend 'Sanctus Columbanus Peregrinus pro Christo'. On reverse, a raised cross with religious scenes; top arm depicts voyage of Brendan with 'Hibernia' above boat; bottom arm has a sword and key crossed with '540/615' underneath. The legend consists of four words - 'Bangor', 'Luxeuil', Bobbio' and 'Bregenz'. Contained in green box, not original.;
