Colourless mould-blown glass jug with eight ribs, wide mouth, arch and angle rim with broad lip and handle. Inscribed "This jug was used at the table of O'Connell and his fellow prisoners during our unjust captivity in Richmond Bridewell in 1844. Thos. Matt. Ray - one of the state prisoners.";
