A small purse of cream silk, with a drawstring of grey ribbon, hand stitched with green thread; originally containing a lock of Lord Edward's hair when he was a boy. Lock retained by the National Library, November 2001. Part of the contents of a small green purse of wallet belonging to or relating to Lord Edward Fitzgerald. The green purse and its contents were bequeathed to Lady Campbell in 1851.;
