Framed address presented to Helen Faucit on the occasion of the presentation to her of The Burton Brooch, 1846 - 7. (Wicklow gold with an emerald and made by Edmond Johnson for West & Son, Dublin, this brooch was designed by Frederick Burton, RHA). It was commissioned by a group of 'gentlemen of Dublin' and presented by them to the actress Helen Faucit in acknowledgment of her great stage performance in the Greek tragedy, Antigone. Dated Dublin 1845, with 35 signatures. Label: "Testimonial to Miss Faucit for production of Antigone in 1845".;
