Jacket of a boy's kilt uniform, Ireland, circa 1910 - 1915. Boy's uniform consisting of a tan coloured kilt with matching waistcoat and brat and black jacket, possibly a school uniform for St. Enda's in Rathfarnham, or the youth wing of an organisation such as the Irish Citizen Army or similar, or Irish dancing outfit. single breasted jacket of black wool, with collar and revers and pocket flaps, (decorative only), the fronts curving away near the bottom and single button to close. Lined in black cotton and interior breast pocket on the right. Sleeves lined in striped cotton. Small brass domed buttons, the silver finish wearing off, one to close, three on each cuff and three on each pocket flap. Epaulettes on the shoulder with one button on each. Woven label reading Irish Co-operative Clothing Manfc. Society - Dublin.;
