Flag or banner, painted, central design of portraits of three men, the Manchester Martyrs William Philip Allen, Michael Larkin and Michael O'Brien, one centre top, a bearded man, and two at bottom left and right corners, one being a man with a goatee beard, the other being clean-shaven. No inscriptions or names. At the bottom corners, outside the central painting, lie two sleeping dogs, facing each other. Same design on reverse, with a painted portrait of Robert Emmet. Probably dated from within a few years of the execution in 1867.;
