Republican prisoner art / craft, 1970s. Tooled leather wallet, with Celtic designs on front and back, plain inside. Brown leather with decoration in red, greeen and orange. Two male figures on back, front depicts stylised dog chasing rabbit or hare. Celtic knots in green around. 'Padraig' underneath.
Made by Liam Coyle of Derry probably in Long Kesh Huts Compound, (The Maze), Lisburn, Co.Antrim, Northern Ireland, or in Macgilligan Camp or Portlaoise, 1970s. Coyle never transferred to the H Blocks.;
