1916 Proclamation / 1916 Rising

1916 Rising Proclamation. An original copy of the Easter Week Proclamation, 1916. An inscription on the back reads 'Picked up opposite the GPO, Dublin, between 11 and 12am on Easter Monday, 24th April, 1916. It had been pinned on the M +L (Munster & Leinster) Bank wall by two of the rebels. Possibly one of the first posters, if not the first'. '24th April 1916' is written in pencil in the top right corner; this is probably a later addition.;
