Silver, 2 inches in diameter, diestruck with the number 1051 incised on the edge. With raised rim. OBVERSE: Pearse in profile looking to right. Around above, PADRAIG H. PEARSE with a shamrock spray at each end. Around below, 1879 - 1916. Across on left of head, P. VINCE. " REVERSE: On left, a symbolic male figure kneeling on his right knee, looking to right, bearing in his right hand a torch and in his left a draped flag. On right, a symbolic female figure kneeling on her right knee, looking to left, bearing in her left hand a floral spray and in her right a draped flag. Near rim behind her foot, P. VINCE. Across above, "We pledge our lives and the lives of our comrades-in-arms to the cause of its freedom of its welfare and of its exhaltation among the nations 24th April 1916", "Eire 1916-1966" in exergue. Reverse stamped with maker's mark DW for D.Worboys, the lion's head erased, Brittania, the London date letter L for 1966 and Irish import marks DW for D.Worboys, the boujet, .9584 and the Irish date Y for 1966. In a green imitation leather presentation case.;
