A uniformed soldier standing on a ground of wavy lines looking to right with his right hand on the bayonet of a musket which is held by his left hand and the stock of which is resting on the ground. To the right, a tent and to left a pile of 13 cannon balls. Rocks in the foreground. On a ribbon around above, FOR MY KING AND COUNTRY.
