Presentation box, wood, with brass dedication plate affixed to the front. This casket contains the Freedom of the City of Dublin conferred upon Douglas Hyde, 29 June 1906. Painted on top with the crests of the four Irish provinces and a crest of the City of Dublin in the centre.
