coatee / 1782 Club, 1840

Coat, green cloth. Cut away in front, tails at back. Yellow turn back in front with two shamrock on either side in gold embroidery and sequins, narrow gold braid shoulder cords and narrow gold braid loop on cuffs. Three brass buttons on each side in front and two small buttons on cuffs and one on each shoulder. Probably page boy's livery of the 1782 Club, Dublin, circa 1840.;
