THE FRIEND OF HIS COUNTRY. Rev. Hibernia in an attitude of dejection is seated in front of a tomb inscribed D.O’CONNELL/ BORN 18 AUGUST 1775. DIED 15 MAY 1847. A wreath of shamrocks are the tomb and a cross on it. In front of Hibernia lies a harp. In exergue CATHOLIC EMANCIPATION REPEAL. Diameter 1 ½".;
