letter / Dr. Farnan, c.1920-21

Letter, written in black ink on headed notepaper for Oifig an Uachtarain, probably to Dr. Farnan - "A Dhochtúir a chara, even you were not awake when I left this morning and I thought of ringing you up to say goodbye. I am saying it now silently instead. I have just learned that the 'teacher' will not be put off until near midnight. That will mean ... about 2 or 3 a.m. - Farnan time! I have told Kathleen to call on you for that 250. They want it rather urgently, I believe. Beannacht libh. Happy Christmas to everybody". Signed Eamon de Valera. Probably circa 1920 to 1921.;
