priming horn /
Priming horn. Made from a Boar's tusk. Triangular in section carved in high relief on the three sides (two scenes) with Hunting scenes. The end terminating in a kind of hound's head. German, 17th century.
swivel cannon /
Cannon. Iron. Long tapering barrel, moulding round muzzle, two short trunnions, Y-shaped supports for trunnions; open breech closed by a hinged breech block with hook attachment at side. Straight handle to the rear terminating in a knob. Probably English, 17th century.
pikehead / 1798 Rebellion
Pike, 1798 Rebellion. Split tang, with straight, axe and hook components to the blade.
belt plate / Kilmallock/The Union Bank of Ireland
Brass belt plate, oval, with KILMALLOCK/THE UNION BANK OF IRELAND, LIMITED inscribed on it.

Round of ball ammunition, English or Irish about 1800. Paper cartridge containing lead ball and gunpowder. For a Brown Bess rifle.

Miniature of cavalry officer in gilt frame. Blue uniform faced white. Lock of hair and small pearls enclosed within a glazed container behind. On it the initials WS (possibly Shrewbridge or Stourbridge) c. 1800. (DB 1459).
baton /
Carved bog oak truncheon. Bottom and top decorated with diamond pattern engraving, with Celtic Revival motifs carved on the body with a harp and shamrocks in low relief. Pierced approximately 8 cm from the end with a leather thong for winding about the wielder's wrist.
